Aligned Asset Managers LLC (“Aligned AM”) is a financial services holding company that specializes in making investments in traditional and alternative investment management firms.

With the equity backing of leading private equity firm GTCR, LLC, our strategy is to create a globally diversified investment management and distribution company by creating partnerships with a select group of privately owned asset management firms, investing in administration and distribution platforms where appropriate, thereby achieving cost efficiencies and leveraging our consolidated sales and marketing resources.

The combined firms will collectively command better brand recognition, allow for new product development and will enable the sharing of “best in class” risk management and corporate governance policies. Aligned AM will strive to maintain the energetic, entrepreneurial environment inherent in smaller companies, while adding the investment breadth and operating infrastructure typical in larger organizations.

 We generally will seek to acquire a majority (50% - 70%) of the equity of prospective member firms. We will also consider strategic minority investments, revenue-sharing arrangements or other alternative joint venture structures in select circumstances.
